The Graphic Designer will be responsible for shaping the visual identity of the company across various marketing and promotional materials. This role involves creating compelling graphics, animations, and video content for both digital and print media, ensuring brand consistency across all businesses.
The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, video production expertise, and a keen eye for branding. Working closely with the Marketing and other departments, the Graphic Designer will develop engaging content for social media, advertising campaigns, signage, and branded collateral. The ability to shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos is a key part of the role.
By combining creativity with strategic thinking, this individual will enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and contribute to the company’s overall growth.
Graphic Design & Branding:
- Develop visually striking designs for menus, posters, billboards, social media content, digital ads, and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all businesses by following established brand guidelines.
- Design logos, event branding, merchandise, and seasonal marketing materials.
- Design engaging graphics, animations, and GIFs for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Create and edit short-form videos and motion graphics to enhance digital marketing efforts.
- Assist in designing email marketing campaigns, web banners, and online ads.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos for marketing purposes, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Edit and enhance images and videos to maintain a professional and engaging aesthetic.
- Develop visually compelling storytelling through video content, including reels, behind-the-scenes clips, and promotional ads.
- Design event signage, invitations, banners, and promotional materials for festivals, concerts, and private events.
- Ensure all printed materials are optimized for production and meet high-quality standards.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Events teams to brainstorm and execute creative ideas.
- Stay up to date with design trends, social media best practices, and emerging creative technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent understanding of branding, typography, colour theory, and layout design.
- Experience in designing promotional materials for hospitality, retail, or events.
- Ability to create animated graphics, GIFs, and video content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (or similar tools).
- Experience in video shooting, editing, and storytelling.
- Ability to capture high-quality images for marketing and promotional use.
- Strong photo editing skills to enhance visuals for both print and digital media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail in both design and video production.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Knowledge of 3D design or rendering tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and advertising trends.
- Experience in developing online solutions (web development).
The selected candidates will be responsible for;
- Greeting all customers visiting the Aquarium
- Inform and educate customers about the aquarium exhibits
- Guiding and giving presentations to groups during their visit
- Ensure that customers have an unforgettable experience
The Aquarium Front of House Supervisor will maintain high quality standards, by directing and coordinating all activities and providing assistance to team members, while ensuring that customer needs are exceeded during their visit.
As A Front-of-House Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Assuring a positive, family-friendly customer service atmosphere.
- Identify priorities and delegate tasks to front of house team members.
- Responsible for cash handling, register and retail shop.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring that concerns from guests are quickly resolved.
- Assure that all team members follow all set guide lines.
- Deliver daily briefing to the team members.
- Oversee daily activities of front of house team members.
- Assist the FoH Coordinator with duties and assignments as requested.
