General Purpose of Position To manage inventory, oversee stock movement, and ensure seamless operations within the storage facilities. Main Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items within the warehouse/store.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with the inventory system.
  • Stock Handling:
    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders or invoices.
    • Properly package, label, and arrange items for storage or distribution.
    • Prepare orders for delivery or shipment as per requirements
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect and report any damages, defects, or discrepancies in received stock.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Inventory Replenishment:
    • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests as needed.
    • Coordinate with purchasing or procurement teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions.
    • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with storage regulations.
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/store environment.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on stock requirements.
    • Assist in forecasting stock needs based on historical data and market trends.
    • Work closely with the storekeeper to ensure a smooth operation.
    • Replace/assist the storekeeper during days of absence and/or busy periods.
  • Any other related duties as it may be required.
Knowledge, Experience and Education required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing inventory in a Food & Beverage environment
  • Proven experience in storekeeping, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
  • Good physical stamina for lifting and moving items as required.
  • Holding a valid and clean driving licence
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The selected candidates will be responsible for;
  • Greeting all customers visiting the Aquarium
  • Inform and educate customers about the aquarium exhibits
  • Guiding and giving presentations to groups during their visit
  • Ensure that customers have an unforgettable experience

The selected candidate must have excellent face-to-face communication skills, work under pressure and continuous willingness to learn. Candidates having knowledge of the biology of fish and customer-oriented roles will be given preference. We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Aquarist to join our dynamic team. The Aquarist will be responsible for the maintenance of all display tanks in the aquarium and quarantine, plant rooms, record keeping as well as preparing and delivering diets for all our species, from shrimps to sharks. You will also be responsible for maintaining the life support systems that look after our species. Help promote & comply with all relevant Health & Safety Procedures & Protocols, suggest and actively participate in team discussions to improve our current exhibits and ensure the highest standards for yourself, visitors and guests. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with excellent problem-solving skills, and who can work with minimal supervision. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar role, ideally in a Public Aquarium. They need to be willing to work flexible hours which may include weekends and public holidays, and be able to clearly communicate in English. Experience with reptiles and holding a SCUBA diving experience is not a must, but will be considered as an asset.   Closing date: 10th September 2024
We are currently seeking to recruit a full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to maintain high-quality standards through all our F&B outlets, by directing and coordinating all activities and providing assistance to employees. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Acknowledge our guests, hosting, answering the telephone accordingly;
  • Greeting, and seating guests;
  • Handling complaints;
  • Provide a high standard of service;
  • Continuously provide feedback to improve the department operating procedures;
  • Handle money transactions, cash float, and billing procedures;
  • Communicate with the team to ensure excellent and consistent service.
The ideal candidate must:
  • Be a natural leader who is customer-oriented, having a pleasant and smart personality;
  • Adapt to a fast and ever-changing environment;
  • Be flexible and willing to work irregular hours including, morning, evening, weekends and public holidays;
  • A good team player with a positive attitude;
  • Be fluent in English and in possession of a valid Food Handling Certificate;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role.

The Front-of-House Supervisor will maintain high quality standards, by directing and coordinating all activities and providing assistance to team members, while ensuring that customer needs are exceeded during their visit. As A Front-of-House Supervisor you will be responsible for:
  • Assuring a positive, family-friendly customer service atmosphere.
  • Identify priorities and delegate tasks to front of house team members.
  • Responsible for cash handling, register and retail shop.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring that concerns from guests are quickly resolved.
  • Assure that all team members follow all set guide lines.
  • Deliver daily briefing to the team members.
  • Oversee daily activities of front of house team members.
  • Assist the FoH Coordinator with duties and assignments as requested.

The selected candidate must have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to deal with all type of customers and able to work under pressure. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in dealing with clients and supervising large teams in a customer-oriented environment. Selected candidates must be willing to work flexible hours which will include weekends and public holidays, be computer literate and be able to clearly communicate in English. Having previous retail experience will be considered as an asset.
