The selected candidates will be responsible for;

  • Inform and educate customers about the aquarium exhibits

We are looking for presentable and approachable individuals, who are customer-oriented, enjoy working in a team and are comfortable to speak to the general public. The selected candidate must have excellent face-to-face communication skills, work under pressure and continuous willingness to learn. Candidates having knowledge of the biology of fish and customer-oriented roles will be given preference. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours which will include weekends and public holidays, and able to clearly communicate in English.

We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions.

General Purpose:

Overseeing food service and ensuring that health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards are met. Make sure all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience meet the expectations of the customers. Manages customer complaints in a diplomatic and courteous manner.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager
  • Coordinating the entire F&B outlet operations and ensuring its smooth running.
  • Meeting and greeting customers for function queries.
  • Handling customer complaints.
  • Planning and coordinating menus in consultation with the Executive Chef.
  • Checking stock levels and ordering supplies through the purchasing officer.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety and ensuring that all the respective regulations are observed.
  • Monitor and be responsible for the performance of all the F&B outlets.
  • Analysing and planning all F&B outlets sales levels and profitability.
  • Together with the director of sales and marketing, organising marketing activities such as promotional events and discount schemes.
  • Agreeing to budgets set by the accountant and the directors.
  • Creating and executing plans for all the F&B outlets' sales and profits.
  • Monitoring that cash reconciliations and other necessary reports to be prepared by F&B staff at the end of each shift for all the F&B outlets are actually prepared and forwarded to the accounts department.
  • Keeping abreast of trends and developments in the industry such as menus, trends in customer tastes and management issues.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process, in training and motivating F&B employees.
  • Planning and organising the working schedules for the F&B staff. Also, approving time records of all the F&B staff.
  • Managing F&B staff, monitoring their performance, providing them with feedback as well as handling any complaints.
  • Ensuring that all F&B employees adhere to the company's mission statement and employee handbook.
  • Helping in any area of the F&B outlets when circumstances dictate.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills :
  • A minimum of three years (3) of experience in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
